Bilbao - Week 3

After 2 weeks I'm starting to get used to the life here, maybe enjoying too many of the Basque pintxos :S

Bilbao is really close to other cities like San Sebastian or Donostia in Euskera. The city is beautiful and very old. There's a lot of good vibe there and the people were very nice. It also has a beautiful bay beach named La concha (even if argentinian friends don't like the name ;) ) where a lot of locals come in the weekends to enjoy the almost everlasting 26 celsius that I've experienced here almost from day one.

The same week I was able to go to a Athletic Club Bilbao with my colleague Bart From team academy, it was an expensive but great experience, the people from the Basque country are very proud of their culture. This means their language Euskera but also their own games, costumes flag and many more. Next to these things is their football team which for many in Bilbao is their life. You have to be there once to feel the pride of the Basque!

Here some of the photos of my third week in bilbao!

Basque people hate to be called Spanish, It wouldn't surprise me if this messy Spain flag wasn't on purpose.
